The 23rd German Demolition Conference will take place in Berlin on 10th and 11th March 2017. The Demolition Conference has been held in Berlin every March since 1995. Since the German Demolition Association (Deutscher Abbruchverband e.V., DA) took over this traditional event in 2011, it has become more international thanks to simultaneous translation into English and French.
In this year more than 780 attendees took part in Europe’s largest demolition convention. Regarding the number of exhibitors, the DA could announce a new all-time-record: on 4th March 100 companies and institutions presented their products and services.
The conference is open to everybody interested in the subject of demolition. Visitors consist of demolition contractors, employees of engineering offices, representatives of public authorities and site managers. Approximately 20 presentations ensure a quick and varied series of current and interesting topics on the subject of demolition. The speakers are considered experts on their field. They report about the latest developments and innovations in the areas of technology, removal of toxic waste, recycling, health & safety and accident prevention. Site reports and information on relevant legal changes round the program off.
In the accompanying exhibition companies show new technical developments such as machinery for demolition works and equipment for the rehabilitation of contaminated buildings. A get-together on Friday evening, after the presentations, provides all attendees an excellent opportunity to consolidate existing contacts and make new ones within an informal atmosphere. On Saturday, the second day of the event, excursions to demolition sites in Berlin are offered to the attendees.
For visitors the online-registration to the Demolition Conference 2017 will be possible latest by December 2016 via this website.
